About the Program

As a paramedic you assess the health status of patients, injured persons and people in need during medical emergencies, apply life-saving treatments and stabilise patients for transport to hospital.

Even in difficult situations and under high pressure you remain calm, make fast decisions and work effectively with others. With the Bachelor in Rescue Management you acquire in-depth professional and methodological knowledge in emergency medicine and rescue services.

Beyond this we strengthen your personal and social competencies, thereby preparing you to take on more highly qualified roles within rescue services.

Through the CORE principle at FHM (Competence-Oriented Research and Education) we teach you not only scientifically grounded specialist and industry knowledge (Professional.Skills) but also entrepreneurial thinking and action (Management.Skills), and beyond that provide a framework for your personal development (Smart.Skills).

Our programme aims to make you professionally and academically capable of action and thus ready to meet the challenges of the working world. The foundation for all our study programmes is the FHM competence model, which is continuously developed by our educational scientists.
