What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores. They help make a website functional, secure and user-friendly. Your browser's "local storage" works in a similar way.
Which cookies we use
StudiStep deliberately uses only what is necessary, keeping data collection to a minimum:
- Technically necessary (session): keeps you logged in after sign-in (session cookie).
- Language setting: remembers your chosen language (TR/DE/EN/ES).
- Theme: remembers the light or dark display theme.
- Cookie consent: stores your decision regarding cookies.
These are required for operation and do not require consent (Section 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TDDDG)).
Consent-based cookies
We only set cookies for statistical or marketing purposes (e.g. reach measurement) if you expressly consent. Without your consent, such cookies are not set.
How to manage cookies
You can view, restrict or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Disabling them completely may result in certain functions (e.g. login) no longer being available.
You can withdraw consent that has been given at any time with effect for the future.
