Special & Inclusive Education
About the Program
Inclusion means the full and natural participation of all people in society. The inclusive transformation of the education system in the areas of early childhood, childhood and adult education is a central theme in German educational institutions. This program aims to open the doors of educational institutions and create space for shared learning, living and working.
In this unique program you will earn not only a bachelor's degree but also the state-recognised qualification as a Special Educator (Heilpädagog*in). This dual qualification enables you to work professionally in the field of inclusive education and special pedagogy and to actively shape these processes.
The program focuses on educational, developmental and upbringing processes that place individual support at their core. As educational approaches and available opportunities become increasingly diverse, you will be an active part of this change.
Thanks to the work-integrated (Berufsbegleitend) study model, you can earn both your academic bachelor's degree and your state-approved special educator qualification within 2 years while continuing to work full-time. Maximum flexibility allows you to perfectly balance work, family and education.
