Physiotherapy
About the Program
The Physiotherapy (B.Sc.) degree programme trains you in a scientifically grounded and practice-oriented way for the diverse fields of physiotherapy. You will become a specialist in the human musculoskeletal system and treat patients whose mobility is restricted due to age, illness or injury.
The programme runs alongside a training contract with a state-approved physiotherapy vocational school or academy. Vocational training and the state examination take place at the training partner, while the degree studies are completed at FHM.
As a physiotherapist you play a key role in developing, maintaining and restoring all physical functions. To this end, you acquire comprehensive physiotherapy, biomedical and biomechanical knowledge and skills during your studies.
To take account of the diagnostically important interaction between body and mind, the curriculum also covers topics such as psychosocial foundations.
Good to know: once you complete your dual training, you receive state recognition as a physiotherapist.
